The Mirage

With a rich, tropical theme, the Mirage provides comfortable and lush accommodation. Guest rooms were just given a modern makeover in August of 2008 when the hotel underwent renovations.

The Mirage is located right on the strip. Behind the casino/hotel is a little zoo that families can check out, with lots of wild animals and large cats, all in addition to a dolphin tank. You should also visit the White Tiger exhibit to see these gorgeous animals playing together, stalking their prey and sleeping quite adorably.

Even if you are not staying at the Mirage, be sure to stop by at night for the eruption of the Mirage's famous volcano. Listen as the sounds grows, the water spurts, fire rages and the volcano erupts before you eyes. This is by far the most exciting experience the Mirage has to offer, and it is a Vegas must-see. Don't be worried about missing the show either, because it occurs every fifteen or twenty minutes.
